I'm an avid Backgammon player and a student of the game. Most people in the Backgammon community know me as Chase. I play primarily on GridGammon and Dailygammon.

I started GammonQuest to have a personal space to post and analyze positions, track my progress, and make notes as I attempt to master the game. I do contribute to other Backgammon sites — primarily BGOnline and GammonU — but there's comfort in having a place of my own, where I don't have to worry about being interesting to others, staying on topic, or embarrassing myself when I say something silly.

You're welcome to read along, or join the discussion if you like, but ultimately I'm writing for myself. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. Oh, and, for various reasons, I have a tendency to go on hiatus for extended periods of time. I do find my way back – eventually. Be patient.
